How to Cut Lavender

June 9, 2021

We will be there to show you how to cut the lavender, but we thought a brief explanation would be helpful prior to arriving.

Cut your stems leaving about 2-3” of green (new growth) at the base of the plant.

Deep inside the plant you will see the gray or “woody” part of the plant, you do not want to cut into any of the wood.  This allows the plant to harden off before winter.

That's all there is to it!
